EQUALSOC network - Eurostat data sets availability ______________

Available data sets | access conditions | ordering data

The EQUALSOC network members can access these EUROSTAT datasets:

EU Labour Force Survey (LFS) anonymised data sets
LFS ad hoc modules
European Community Household Panel (ECHP)
EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC)

Access conditions

Access will be allowed to researchers who are members of Equalsoc  partner institutes (contractual relationship) and who are involved in  one of the Equalsoc research programs. PHD students who are involves in these  programs and whose supervisor is member of Equalsoc partner  institutions will also get access to data.

Under the terms of the contract between Eurostat and CNRS it is required that any member of EQUALSOC who wishes to use the ECHP, SILC or LFS data should sign Eurostat's confidentiality declaration.
In addition the members are required by Equalsoc to sign its own statement and provide information to the Data Support Committee.
The  Equalsoc form must also be signed by the representative person of the  Equalsoc partner institute (list of representative persons)

Ordering data

Ordering data can be done directly via e-mail data.equalsoc@ens.fr
For each data set the Equalsoc statement and the Eurostat confidentiality declaration must be transmitted by mail :

Data ordered are transmitted following format that suits the user (SAS, SPSS, STATA). Files transfer is via FTP
